Is this really free?

Do I need an account?
Not for anything free. The mock exam, daily quiz, flashcards, domain drills, study guides and your dashboard all work with no signup, and your progress saves to this device on its own. Buying a pass does need one — it is what gives your access back on a new phone or after a cleared browser, and it syncs your progress across devices.
Is the Spanish a machine translation?
No. Every question, option and explanation was written in both languages and checked against the terminology Florida statutes actually use. Pearson VUE administers the 2-20 in Spanish under exam code InsFL-PC06S, with the same three-hour limit as the English form, so aviso de reclamación and reclamación suplementaria have to be the words on the page.
Does this replace the 200-hour prelicensing course?
No, and nothing can. Section 626.732, F.S., requires 200 hours of approved coursework in property, casualty, surety, health and marine insurance — 3 hours of it on ethics — completed within the 4 years before you apply, unless you qualify through one of the statute's experience paths. This is supplemental practice for the state exam, not the course.
How current is the material?
Florida property and casualty law was rewritten three times in three years: SB 2-D (ch. 2022-268) in May 2022, SB 2-A (ch. 2022-271) that December, and HB 837 (ch. 2023-15) in March 2023. Every deadline, dollar figure and percentage here is checked against the statute text in force and re-checked after each session. Where a superseded figure is still the most tempting wrong answer, the explanation says so and names the reform that changed it.
